Get Some Vitamin Sea: A Samal Beach Getaway

Now that Davao City is on alert level 1, we took advantage of visiting Samal Island, Philippines. At first, we were hesitant to bring our two-year-old daughter to the beach but this is really her first time, and since the covid cases are going down, we gave it a try.

We are living in the new normal, therefore we should consider a lot of things by observing safety protocols, and contacting the beach resort we are planning to visit ahead of time. In our case, we visited Costa Marina Beach Resort and their requirements are as follows:

  1. Number of pax (adult and kids)
  2. Valid ID
  3. Personal information (name, contact number, QR code)
  4. Reservation Date
  5. Entrance Fee/proof of the reservation (Adults: PHP 340.00/pax Kids: PHP 240.00/pax (3yrs old to 10 yrs old)
  6. Bringing food and drinks from outside the resort is prohibited

To avoid delays and future problems, we made sure that all our requirements are complete and ready. To feel a little safer, we availed of their charter service.

Keep in mind that the pandemic is not yet over, so before traveling elsewhere, make sure that you prioritize your safety first.
